Trafalgar Road
Project Overview
Trafalgar Road was a major arterial reconstruction and widening contract for the Region of Halton completed in 2021. Four Seasons delivered the work as prime contractor.
Trafalgar Road is a principal regional arterial in Halton Region. The contract covered full-depth reconstruction and widening within the contract section, with integrated underground servicing work and full restoration of the corridor on completion.
Four Seasons self-performed the principal trades on the contract. Excavation, granular placement, asphalt paving, and concrete restoration were delivered through in-house crews. Underground servicing including watermain and sewer work was delivered through the dedicated Four Seasons sewer and watermain capability.
Continuous regional traffic, transit operations, and adjacent commercial and residential property access required ongoing staging coordination with the Region of Halton and the local road authority. Book Seven certified traffic control personnel staffed every traffic-affecting work day on the contract.
The contract closed in 2021 within the regional contract administration framework.
