Project Overview
Mayfield Road Widening was a major capacity expansion contract for the Region of Peel completed in 2021. Four Seasons delivered the work as prime contractor.
Mayfield Road is a principal regional east-west corridor in Peel Region experiencing significant growth in adjacent land use. The contract widened the corridor within the contract section, adding travel lanes and supporting infrastructure to the regional design standard.
The work was delivered as a single-prime contract integrating road widening, underground servicing, drainage, and full restoration within one continuous construction sequence. Four Seasons self-performed the principal trades through in-house crews.
Regional traffic on Mayfield Road continued throughout the construction period. Staging was coordinated with the Region of Peel through the standard contract administration framework. Book Seven certified traffic control personnel staffed every traffic-affecting work day on the contract.
The contract closed in 2021.
