Founded in 2003 in Brampton, Four Seasons started as a small site development contractor working on local municipal contracts. The early focus on roadway and underground servicing established the trade base that the company carries forward today.
Metrolinx contract work began in 2005. The corridor experience built over the subsequent two decades on PRESTO Fare Card Infrastructure, Oshawa GO Station, the Barrie Two-Way All Day Infrastructure Improvements program, and the active Heritage Road Layover has established Four Seasons as a recurring contractor on transit and rail infrastructure.
Self-performance capability has expanded continuously. Two complete asphalt paving crews, three excavation and grading crews, one dedicated concrete crew, dedicated sewer and watermain crews, and three streetscaping and restoration crews now operate within the company. Company-owned asphalt plants supply the paving operations.
The contractor has been recognized through industry awards including the 2025 OPWA Historical Restoration and Preservation Award and Project of the Year for the Belfountain project, the 2022 OPWA Transportation Award for Clark Avenue, the 2022 OPWA Structures Award for the Major Mackenzie Watermain, and listings in Growth 500 in 2017 and 2018, Profit 200 in 2010, and as a Regional Runner-Up in Canada's 50 Best Managed Companies.
