Oshawa GO
Station Building
Project Overview
The Oshawa GO Station Building was a major Metrolinx station construction contract delivered between 2015 and 2018. Four Seasons delivered the work as prime contractor.
Oshawa GO Station is a principal terminal on the Lakeshore East corridor. The contract delivered a new station building serving the existing station infrastructure, with construction proceeding alongside continuous GO Transit operations at the site.
The scope included foundation work, building structure, envelope, mechanical and electrical service integration, and the site civil works connecting the building to the existing station and parking infrastructure. Four Seasons delivered the principal civil trades through in-house crews and coordinated the building trades within the prime contractor framework.
Continuous GO Transit operations at Oshawa Station required passenger access, parking operations, and platform use to be maintained throughout the construction period. Staging was coordinated with Metrolinx station operations through the standard contract administration framework.
The contract closed in 2018.
